James Rose - Publications CV


A specialist in horror and science fiction film and television, James Rose has written critical texts for a range of national and international publications. His first book, Beyond Hammer: British Horror Cinema since 1970 was published in May 2009 and his second, Studying The Devil’s Backbone in December 2009. His third authored publication, a book-length study of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, was published in February 2013. He regularly writes for Offscreen, The Irish Journal of Gothic and Horror Studies, Electric Sheep, Splice, MediaMagazine and Vertigo.
